Dr. Dantz is amazing! He has been the psychiatrist for my 88 year old "aunt" for the past several years. Initially he worked wonders optimizing my aunt's emotional well-being through prescribing a highly effective medication for her anxiety and depression. More recently when my aunt became unusually fatigued, he recommended a sleep study which showed severe sleep apnea, and CPAP therapy has really helped to improve her energy level. Dr. Dantz helped me overcome the effects of decades of topical steroid use for eczema, as well as entrenched scratching habits, and topical steroid withdrawal (TSW). He was very comprehensive and a careful listener in assessing the problems. He was quick and insightful in designing treatment. He stayed in close touch outside of our appointments, which he helped limit to control the costs for me. I'm deeply grateful for his help.
I first started seeing Dr. Dantz in the summer of 2019 with what be diagnosed with as a panic disorder. Dr. Dantz was an adept listener regarding both my psychological symptoms and my physical symptoms, along with the stressors causing the underlying anxiety/panic. The combination of the frequent check-in's and medication quickly addressed the symptoms which eventually went away over time. I would highly recommend Dr. Dantz to any friend or family member.
Dr Dantz has the rare gift of being deeply compassionate and pragmatic. I have found his expertise as both an internist and psychiatrist to be tremendously reassuring. He has helped me though some very tough times, always responsive and supportive, I am truly indebted.
Dr. Dantz recently began treating our 20 y/o daughter for AD/HD, as well as significant anxiety/depression. I have been seeing Dr Dantz for over 6 years and he is my favorite psychiatrist I have ever seen. Dr Dantz is a true professional and really listens. I was referred to him by a therapist because she said he doesn't just prescribe you medications. He truly listens to you and then discusses the medications with you.
