I went here a quite a bit ago and genuinely have trauma from it, like another review stated, if you have mild anxiety or depression and then learning a few coping skills will help, go for it. But if not, this is a major waste of time and money.
hii i was at the php program earlier this year. a lot of the kids were super nice and funny, and i felt welcomed there as so far the kids. but i acc got trauma from here and i still get horrible flashbacks when i think of it. but if you say something even slightly concerning, or a “concerning” joke, they will invade your privacy. like going through your journal, your backpack or purse, your folder, or any pockets you may have on you. they also implemented a rule about a week before i left where they would only allow 1 item t... read more
Our daughter attended the IOP program in the Westlake area for little over 12 weeks. While we initially saw improvements in her communication, self-esteem, and especially her confidence, the experience overall was disappointing and deeply concerning. Midway through the program, her therapist was changed without prior notice or proper transition. My 12 year old daughter just completed the partial hospitalization program and I cannot praise the team at Beyond enough. It was the best experience we could’ve had in our hardest time. Daily communication, thorough counseling, it was all just perfect.
Called to explain my son’s circumstances. Was forthcoming about everything. Was told he was eligible for the programming despite the circumstances. Spent 2 hours in intake assessment. Found out 3 days later they won’t accept him for the very reasons I made sure BEFORE scheduling an intake wouldn’t be a problem. I’m a social worker in this field for over 15 years. This feels like a scam to get people in to do assessments for money and not accept them into the programming.
