Dr. Douglas has been a true blessing for our family. He is a great listener and takes the time needed to make sure to find the problem not just address the symptoms. He has lived internationally, so he is also a great resource if you plan to travel abroad and want to make sure you have the right shots etc. Lastly, he is a genuinely good person through and through who will treat your family as he would his own.
We will not take our daughter or our little one on the way anywhere else as long as he is practicing.
I am just like everyone else, 2 children, boy 7, daughter 2, and there is no one else I would want to see my kids. He checked them both over on day one and each appointment after and has always been just fantastic for us. He is professional, fun, and has always made me and my kids feel welcome. My kids like going to Dr. Douglas. There is simply not a better person at detecting the presence of bunnies in a person's ears.
Dr. Douglas has been our pediatrician for our two children, now 8 & 10, since birth. We love him so much. He is amazing with the kids. As a matter of fact, I used to think my daughter pretended to be sick just so she could go see Dr. Douglas. He spends as much time as you need discussing options. He is very open to more holistic approaches, which is very important to me. We love him and are so happy to come see him in his new practice!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Douglas' expertise, kind attentiveness, and supportive attitude towards me as a parent while we lived in Omaha and he was our pediatrician. It was not unusual for him to check up with us after we'd seen him to see how our child was doing.
Dr. Douglas is an amazing doctor. We have 3 kids and wouldn't dream of taking them to anyone else! Our son was born with a condition and has spent time in the hospital. Not only did Dr. Douglas come check in everyday (sometimes twice a day) but he also advocates for our son to the other specialists we have to see. It is clear that he truly cares about his patients and their families.
Dr Douglas is the best pediatrician out there. I have been waiting to hear this amazing news of him opening up his own private practice! I highly recommend him to everyone that is looking for a caring pediatrician that is so great with children and has so much wisdom in the industry.
Dr. Douglas is Outstanding! He has been our Pediatrician since the oldest of our 4 children was born almost 26 years ago. He cares for each child as if they were one of his own.
I took my 4 young ones in to get shots yesterday and the nurses were so kind and fun and obviously very experienced... she administered the shots the best and fastest I've ever seen (and I'm even a nurse!) My kids had so much fun picking their toys from the "treasure tower" that they actually asked "When do we get to come back and do this again?!?!" 😂
