Love Bev's so much I made my nephew wait to get it and not eat the crap at the food trucks in DC - closed during open hours, no post or sign, dangggg talk about poor service

Kinda hard to screw up ice cream in a fantastic location on a hot day.
I have always loved Bev's since I was a kid and was obsessed with the raspberry chip flavor. I hadn't been in almost 10 years and i was taking a stroll through Carytown and figured I'd check it out and was curious if they still had my fav icecream flavor. I for sure thought after all this time there was no way since many places constantly change their menu and don't stick to the good stuff that made them great in the first place....but to my surprise they had it! Delicious ice cream. Generous portions. The restaurant was so warm, uncomfortably warm, when we walked in (assuming from all the people going in and out.). Many tables/booths/stools and floors were dirty with spilled ice cream (granted it was a beautiful day so I'm sure they had had a ton of foot traffic in & out of the store). Tables wobbly and move easily.....stools are too tall for the tables. I appreciated the free water available.
