Had to get my wisdom teeth out and was told to go to this doctor. Boy, I wish I didn’t. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and lacked bedside manners. He had snarky comments to any questions I had and at one point, laughed at me. After my wisdom teeth extraction, I ended up with a nasty infection and abscess. I was referred to Dr. Bevilacqua from my primary dentist for a tooth extraction in his West Hartford office. I came in for a consultation and extraction. However as he was doing the extraction I was in alot of pain it took him around 20 mins and he took my tooth out in multiple pieces. I was moaning in pain and he commented how nosy I was which I felt was very unprofessional. I cannot find the words I want to say about Dr. Bevilacqua . I'm so thankful we found him. Dr. Bevilacqua not only very Talented but his customer service is A++++ he really goes above and beyond for his patients. I highly recommend him.
I had an appointment with Dr.Bevilacqua today and appreciated his total honestly. He examined me, did a CT scan of my entire mouth and told me exactly what was going on. He answered questions and took time. I was impressed by his complete honesty and his efficiency. If a problem in the future does arise I will definitely call him. He took me right in and his office staff is amazingly nice and welcoming. I am happy to know doctors like Dr. Bevilacqua are practicing. Waited 3 months to have a consult with him and his wife who does Ortho and then after I called back saying I had gained the weight he wanted me to and even more than he wanted me to I repeatedly asked the staff what was going on with my case and they said give us your number and we'll get back to you and they never did. Do Not Go Here he wasted my time and never even sent a pre estimate to insurance, especially don't go here if you have Husky I think he thinks it won't pay even though they are great insurance for those who n... read more
I had to put a star in order to post this but I give this doctor 0 stars. Had taken my son to this doctor in the past for teeth extraction. He is 18 and has had issues with his teeth falling out. The last time we went, the ortho had recommend that 2 wisdom teeth be removed. He refused to remove the teeth, had some very nasty comments against the ortho, told us that my son probably would never get his permanent teeth and said that we had a nice lawsuit against the ortho. Sucked. I went to the Glastonbury office. After asking him about a mouthguard he made a sarcastic comment about probably never getting paid for it, but he would do one. The office never contacted me. I called them, questioned them twice about it. They told me they would check into it. never heard from them. got hung up on the third time. Insurance company even reached out to them. Turns out the dr. never sent in the pre authorization. They didn't even give me an explanation why. waste of gas
