Dr. Fingerhood has been my primary care doctor for many years. She is patient and does not rush your visits. She listened to my point of view when I didn't want to try a new med. A friend I had referred to her also likes her and appreciates her concern about lab tests and follow up visits for prescription refills. She will not prescribe over the phone protecting us from over use of antibiotics.

This is the most unprofessional Dr. I have ever met. I saw her once and then tried to schedule an apt again for an ear infection. The day of the APt she called and asked why i wanted to see her and I told her, she told me go to Urgent Care and refused to see me... Fast FWD I have been in and out of the ER and told to follow up with my primary care DR. I have been a patient of Dr. Fingerhood for approximately 15 years. She is very thorough in her questions, professional in her communication and suggests specialists when appropriate. One thing I have learned to appreciate about Dr. Fingerhood is that she will only prescribe an antibiotic if she sees you in person and is confident that is what you need. Too many other doctors are quick to prescribe them when a patient requests one and that causes antibiotic resistance which harms all of us.

She is dangerously incompetent. I told her I couldn't breath, she told me it was anxiety and there's was nothing she could do until I saw a psychiatrist about it, because she couldn't hear anything wrong with my lungs. Turns out I had pneumonia. Once my records were requested by my new doctor and uploaded into my chart, I could see X-ray reports saying I had pneumonia, and another staying the pneumonia was getting worse.
