Very disappointed! Been eating here over 20 years. I ordered 3 dinner plates and 3 cobblers. I was told they had strawberry cobbler but when I picked up my order, I had apple cobbler and I had a chicken liver plate which the livers were extremely hard. I picked up order in drive through and pulled out in parking lot to check my order only to find out they initially left my bread off 2 of my plates. seemed a bit racist! they gave us paper cups when others had glasses. I didn't mind the paper cup but I didn't appreciate being singled out. or should I say treated as "colored" people were treated years ago. The meat was boiled so far from bbq... My husband told them it wasn't good and asked if he could have chicken but they didn't have bbq chicken. They were also out of potato salad but we arrived at opening time 11am. This is not a bbq place at all.
Slow service and the BBQ pork has a strange taste like a hint of a fuel flavor before you get the smoke flavor.
This is the most disgusting excuse for restaurant food I have ever seen. The mac and cheese came out of a can. The bbq sauce was mostly ketchup, and the pork was undercooked. They want you to pay extra for gravy to go on your bone dry hamburger steak. They don't even reccomend their own bbq when you ask what's good. I will never eat or pay for this nonsense. I was literally insulted when they set my jail tray full of garbage in front of me.
I will never ever order from them again. I ordered threw post mates. First off the didn’t get my complete order and when I called the restaurant they didn’t want to here what I was missing they stated “ we put everything in the order” and hung up on me not once but twice. Clearly they didn’t put everything in my order because I was missing one of the plain cheese burgers I ordered and an order of mashed potatoes, on top of I have a son whose allergic to mayo and mustard and they put mayo and mustard on one of the burgers I d... read more
Great BBQ. Beans & greens. Cornbread . Plate lunch with meat & 2 veggies. Pies & cobblers. Can't go wrong. Fried chicken & catfish.
We love this place! Chicken and dressing, fried green tomatoes, Chicken and dumplings, and of course the best ever BBQ!
I have always loved Betty's and have eaten there for years!!
