I reached out to this center seeking safety from a bad situation at home and spoke with extremely unprofessional staff. After an initial call with a kind staff member, I was later 'interrogated' by another employee who was very dismissive and cold. When I tried to explain my crisis, she met me with judgmental silence that was incredibly difficult to talk through without feeling judged. I absolutely love this place!! Every time I go there, I always leave With something I’m excited about I was saying at the shelter when I found out about the Betty Griffin thrift store. Now that I have my own place I continue to come every chance I get!! I love it!

Hi, I am writing this review from my son‘s profile, but my name is Ms. Woods this morning. I was totally devastated by the decisions that the staff at the Betty Griffin, Shelter Made pertaining to my belongings…. I have already had my stuff stolen by roommates while actively living in the shelter.
