Just a message to anyone with issues with better call solar. I haven't been able to get through to anyone to have a look at my system. It is having issues. Then I found out they are now partnered with RenewCo solar. So far they have been so helpful. I just needed to show them proof of purchase and any information I had about my system.
We had a solar system installed by Better Call Solar nearly 5 years ago and we were happy. Unfortunately, September, 2024 the monitoring device stopped working and both Better Call Solar and Solar Analytics have been making jump through hoops to get to the bottom of the issue. Rhys and his staff are no longer responding to our emails and Solar Analytics just send us numerous feedback form. We feel that both companies have played us. Please be careful as there is very little after sales service.
Better Solar is one of the most expensive solar installation out there and they do a good job with the installation. During the sales process they will promise you of good after sales support. After sales support is terrible though. My Solar Analytics stopped working after a little over year and they've provided an unclear instruction on how to fix it. I've sent follow up questions and never get a response anymore. I guess all companies are like that and Better Solar is no different from them.
I've been chasing these guys since February regarding an overdue invoice. I'm a small business owner.
Would've rated them 5 stars even with their higher than average prices BUT my Wattwatcherssolar analytics module broke after a year and after advising me to reset the module a few times (which I duly did), I didn't receive any further help. It did take the Wattwatchers team a month to reply to their support ticket but it doesn't excuse their subsequent inaction.
