RecommendedDr. Heir was our family vet for over 20 years. He cared for Dear Prudence, Eleanor Rigby, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Martha My Dear, and Fosse. I currently live in VA, but had an emergency here in MD and brought Hey Jude to him. A pit bull attacked Jude three weeks ago and her healing is just amazing. I recommend him and his staff with no reservations. You cannot put a price on the health of a fur family member.
Totally competent, knowledgeable and professional (and can bore you with their explaining.) Each demonstrates affection for the pets.
Dr Heir is the best , we take our Pooh Bear there every year for ear infections he always knows when to expect her comming in to see him , and Pooh Bear loves him , and the staff there is wonderful , I would highly recomend this vet !!

I had to make a difficult decision regarding my pet suffering from renal failure. I was treated with such warmth and compassion by Dr. Heir and staff and can’t adequately express my gratitude. I’ve always received excellent care but this was, perhaps, most meaningful.
I love the staff and vets! Top notch service. I never feel rushed or pushed. They have helped me so many times and gone above and beyond. BCAH really cares and I highly recommend them.
I don’t know how long I’ve been bringing my cats here but I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Hair is my personal favorite vet, but the entire staff is wonderful! They are professional, caring and compassionate and take excellent care of my cats.
I brought in 2 puppies from a rescue that I was fostering to see Dr. Heir. I had called his officer earlier in the week to see if he would work with this rescue and he was very agreeable. Yesterday was my first time at BCA. The staff was great, run very well and Dr. Heir was incredibly knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me and the puppies. I have been to a lot of vets in Howard County, Dr. Heir definitely is a stand out. I would highly recommend and return to him and trust my pets in his care.
