Loved this cemetery. Shot this cemetery the first day I made it to Charleston. Southern cemeteries are always easy to admire; this is just one of the many I have had the pleasure of visiting.
Over 61-yrs ago, my Father, John Joseph Capitan, Sr. was entered into his final resting place at Bethany Cemetery just a few days after his demise on Saturday, September 10, 1955. My Father was born on Sept. 29, 1909 and was only 45-yrs old . I was just 8-yr old and my Mother was a young 36-yr old. I love this beautiful old cemetery. My Mother is now soon to be 98-yr old this October 28, 2016; she is still living and resides at the Village ACLF in Summerville, SC.
