I paid her $500 to appraise a house I was trying to purchase, but her lack of being able to properly document information, and poor response time ultimately killed the deal. Her knowledge on comparing like homes didnt seem up to par either, but that's not my profession so I cant judge on that. My review simply comes down to the fact that she took my money, didn't do her job getting the proper info back in a timely matter, so we lost the house and the money.
Decided that our home is a 2 bedroom home based on what appears to be personal tastes. Other appraisers not only value the home higher, but also acknowledge the third bedroom. Was seeking more explanation on this, however none was given. The city, in regards to our taxes, certainly feels that the home is a three bedroom home.
