Disappointed in Best Western. Always had good experiences before. This hotels' rooms and hallways smell really bad. We rented 2 rooms (204 and 206), and both were smelling like mold, we're thinking it was the rug floor or standing water in the AC. Our feet turned black just from walking on the floor. We heard from some others that their rooms smelled the same way. The smell was bad enough that we couldn't get used to it, even by morning. We were also concerned about getting sick if it was mold. Good rates, good breakfast, friendly staff. Parking is not quite adequate. Nearby road construction makes accessibility challenging.
Great hotel! 5 star staff...especially Melissa who was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel when visiting the Rockwall area.
Kevin was so nice and accommodating checking us in, especially since I messed up the reservation. Thank you Kevin! Room was able to cool down quickly and we slept well 👍 pool was enjoyable even upon our late arrival. Breakfast was simple and filling. Ty.
