Horrible experience. It was pouring rain outside with flooding in several locations. I arrived at the hotel and was informed check in was not for another 2 hours. I inquired if it was an availability issue or a policy issue and was told it was due to policy. The lack of attempt at resolution was astounding but that’s okay because I took my dollars right down the street to a much better location. Availability is one thing, but not doing an early check in during a storm just “because” is not a winning stance. Good luck

Let's just say that when I checked in they offered me the "quiet room." Hwy noise is a guarantee and the traditional thin walls of any hotel is going to lend to the added noise of any passerby and neighbors that are not quite aware that they aren't the only ones in the hotel. The bedside ear plugs that greeted me when I got to my room let me know that this might indeed be the quiet room, and that they pretty much just give up on dealing with the noise.
