While I absolutely did not love the location of this hotel, I must mention the location was right off the main highway. Im not from Wichita so don't ask which one. Lol Once you left the parking lot which was very loud from all the traffic, and stepped into the main lobby, the sound changed almost immediately. The lady who greeted us and gave my husband the room key was kind but she was not at the desk when we arrived so we waited to wait about 2, maybe 3 minutes to check in and receive our key. I had a really bad experience in Kansas my weekend was not the best, but Jason Madhu did the above and beyond. He help me with the urgency of my situation and honestly this hotel most be more than 7 stars, because the location is perfect, the room was extremely clean and super comfortable, atmosphere was excellent in fact I would like to congratulate all the staff, but the most for Mr. Jason Madhu for the exceptional hospitality and service on a really difficult situation of my life. I stayed at two Best Westerns July 7th at 2535 Glenstone in Springfield, MO and at Best Western 8300 Kellog in Wichita, KS on July 14th. I highly recommend both. First time to stay in Wichita but the King Size bed and the pillows were outstanding. Breakfast at each was very pleasing to me and my wife. I stay at the Springfield Best Western Coach on Glenstone each time I go to see my daughter. It is halfway and I stay there going and coming. Absolutely perfect from start to finish. Check in was personable and smooth. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and well lighted. I love the comfortable chair with foot rest. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, breads etc. Free coffee both in the lobby and the room. Make sure you ask for a room away from traffic. That's what we did and it was quiet. I will definitely stay again.
Very, very good. Clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent in every way. The staff were the best we have met in years. Brenda at the night desk was thoughtful and helpful with Kate arrival and accessible needs. Cheryl in the breakfast room was attentive. The breakfast was good, hot and fresh. The room was a great value. We’ll come back if we travel this way again.
