Pretty good location, right next to I-25. When we walked in the room it smelled a little musty but it cleared right out as soon as we got the air conditioner going. The gal at the front desk was a pleasure on the phone and in person. The place was older but not too old. It’s been renovated. The floors are nice and clean. Most places don't do much paperwork any longer the check in was too long. The smell in the room was awful and almost causing an asthma attack. The hotel looks okay until you start walking around. Old, dirty and cigarettes smell.
I would never stay at this location again. Doors didn’t latch, my aunt was originally supposed to be in one room that was filled with remodel supplies, the staff are subpar, the smell is horrendous in the pet rooms even though we have a registered service animal, a barking dog , murky pool, and they don’t actually want to solve issues. Tried to get a refund to leave 1 hour into check in and they refused.
My stay was fine. The only reason I am giving three stars instead of one is because of the service I received while at the hotel from the front desk. Specifically Ariana. She was great. The greatness ends there. I stayed here on July 27th. It is now August 16th. After one round of having to go through the hoops of getting a 96 dollar charge that made “in error” credited back to my bank (just a WEEK ago) the very next day I wake up to a new deposit from July 28th showing up held in my account.
