This place has been neglected badly for the last 6 years and it's easily the worst hotel in town, sadly. The pool hasn't been open for at least 5 years, so don't be fooled by the photos. They say it's under "renovation," yet nothing has changed. They use it for storage now. They also have a different listing under the Baymont, but it's the same place.

Note this hotel is now named Baymont owned by Wyndham Hotels. For the the price this place is an excellent value. It has recently gone through some major renovations. The rooms are clean, the staff are very polite and helpful, it's in a convenient location on Noth Main St. for groceries, restaurants, and a trail head right up the street featuring great hikes overlooking town and it's next to the Animas river one block away. Customer service was terrible. Not even as much as a thank you have a good day or come back and see us when checking out. Never seen room service during our 3 day stay. Had to go get towels for our showers. Would not recommend unless they change their ways.

Both my queen beds were dirty under the covers even under the pillow cases. Like the bed wasn't stripped and clothed with cleaner linen. The office was very helpful. Swimming pool was nice.
