Its a good place to stay if u dont want to stay in Anchorage. Place is just about an hour out of Anchorage on the banks of a small lake. Good clean and spacious rooms. Ample parking space. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.Pricey like everything else in Alaska.
Newly renovated rooms, great staff... Really wonderful. Amazing views. This is a little hidden gem.
They over sold and the guest service told me “I was the winner” they assign me to another hotel nearby, which is a cheaper, 2-star hotel with no lake view. I think I can assume their room is no better than the 2-star?
9 months ago we booked 2 rooms for our Alaska getaway- 1. The night prior to our booking I received an email at 10:30 pm stating we were bumped from our rooms and that our reservation was moved to another hotel (not as nice) from Caroline. 2. When we reached out to talk to the manager we were told she had left but would be back @ 9:30 in the morning. 3.
