My husband and I have stayed at several best westerns including this one, but this is the first terrible experience we've ever had. My husband is handicapped, so we got a handicap room. After a long drive and being exhausted, we were ready to get in our room and get a good night sleep. Instead we were met with a stuffy hot room, that literally took my breath away when we walked in. This hotel is older but the staff keeps it very clean. The room i stayed in had an odd smell, kind of like old mixed with cleaners lol. The bed was good but the pillows were lumpy and needed to be replaced. The room was well stocked with a microwave, coffee maker and a refrigerator. The ac unit was quiet and efficient. There is no elevator to the second floor, only stairs. The breakfast starts at 6:00 am. The food is fresh and very good!

First, the person at the front desk, Mike, took about 30 minutes to find our reservation. We waited because we had already paid. When he finally checks us in, we get to the room and are sorely disappointed in what our $300 "executive suite" looks like. The jetted tub is barely big enough for one. You cannot see either TV from the tub. The TV in the room is about 20 feet away from the bed, and awkwardly positioned on the wall.
