Good place to stay. Quiet. One minute to Ga. 400. Plenty of restaurants in the area.
Nauseating smell of old smoke and urine, bathroom floor was literally sticky, stains on sheets, we slept fully clothed and did not open our luggage for fear of the nasty smell infiltrating everything. Left in the morning and found someplace else to recover...
Updated 7/24/22: Disregard the reply. I had to get Expedia to refund the money. The clerk was no help. Econolodge is known for saying “isolated incident” and that the “reviews help them moving forward” but if you scroll down and read all of the 1 star reviews, you will see that they could care less. I can’t believe a red county like dawsonville has such a bad place. It makes one wonder how they are making a living seeing as how no one was staying there.
