I do not understand why best western does not care about its commitment? If they do, why hide progress?
I will not be returning to Best Western Plus Clock Tower Inn—or any Best Western property—until the company comes clean about its global cage-free egg progress. It’s 2025, and there’s no excuse for hiding behind partial updates while hens suffer in tiny cages. Guests deserve transparency, and animals deserve better. If Best Western can’t report comprehensively and take real action, it will keep losing guests like me who refuse to support cruelty in the supply chain.
As a guest, I expect not only comfort but also responsible sourcing from the brands I support. If Best Western cannot provide a transparent, comprehensive report on its global cage-free progress — with clear timelines and verified milestones — it will be clear that the company is choosing to ignore animal welfare and guest concerns.
Very nice place, just don't plan on the complementary breakfast unless you lots of time to wait in line.
