RecommendedBefore there was the Deer District there was the Beer District. Best Place at the Pabst Brewery is a must for locals and visitors. Prost!
RecommendedMark, our tour guide, knew his Pabst Brewery history. Even though come from a three generation family of Pabst workers (my great grandfather is in one of the slides shown), I found out so my things about the lineage of the Best and Pabst families as well as the takeovers of outsiders in the 80’s that led to their downfall. No beer production viewed there anymore but now can see area of the plant that were once off limits to tourists and only management and employees could enter.
