Our dog was dying of cancer and we hoped to ease his discomfort by getting his pain medications as a liquid. They were compounded as “flavored“ chicken/beef. Our dog was still in distress taking the medications and would attempt to spit out the medications. Although appreciative that that Best Pet Rx could quickly provide a medicine prescribed by the veterinarian while we were on vacation, i was appalled that a medicine we typically pay 2 dollars per pill for the name brand medication, cost us 101 dollars for just 14 generic pills. I thought it was including a second medication the doctor prescribed, but Best Pet did not have it. I am profoundly disappointed. I should have ordered it from Chewy.com.

So thankful to Best Pet RX! When my budgie was critically ill and needed a rather niche medication, they were the only pharmacy that could have it ready guaranteed within a few days. And since they're a dedicated pet pharmacy, they were also able to make it apple-flavored which was better tolerated than his other bubblegum-flavored med. The medication also came with syringes which were narrower and much better suited for dispensing meds to tiny birds than the ones we’d received from the vet.
