I had a very alarming experience at Best Nail Salon this past Saturday evening when I received lash services from Mimi. While I was still in the chair, my eyes immediately started burning intensely. I know that lashes can be a bit uncomfortable, as I bought the discomfort to her attention because something clearly wasn’t right, but the service continued. UPDATED REVIEW: 2/10/2026 My first experience was not great, so Best Nails invited me back. I came back in and was treated very kind. Two of the staff acknowledged they made a mistake with my nails and wanted to make sure that I was pleased this time. Instead of getting another gel x set, I asked for a simple builder gel set on top of my natural nails. Tammy did a great job. The nails look very natural. Horrible experience. I called ahead to see if they do gel x nails. They said yes. I get in there and am sent to the back to an older gentleman. This was one of the most painful experiences. Let’s start with the first red flags. I asked for short nails and he brings out long stilettos and says he can cut them short. I know it won’t be the shape I wanted but whatever.
