I have a Husky/Collie mix who is both hairy and beautiful. She has a lot of hair! I thought I needed to shave her to get her to get rid of the extra coat each season and then try to keep her brushed etc. I was wrong! I took her to BIS and they told me that a good raking and undercoat removal was a better alternative to shaving her...damn were they right! I took my 2 mini schnauzers and my westie. They have been there 4 other times. I noticed the last couple of times the grooming was just ok so I decided to give them 1 more chance. Evidently there has been many groomer changes. I told them my past concerns and they said don't worry we have good groomers now. Well needless to say I was mortified when I picked up my dogs. Just moving here I was a bit skeptical and nervous about taking my mini schnauzers to a new place. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The groomer Jamie has skills! This place truly lives up to it's name as my babies looked like show dogs when she finished! Looks like we have a new home! Awesome job!!
Annie, standard poodle goes in each month looking straggly. After each visit she looks glamorous and clearly show quality. We highly recommend Best in Show to your dog.
I called Best In Show this morning and the lady who answered the phone said that they were busy but since my Jack Russell only needed a simple visit with no cuts that I could just bring him in and it would be no problem. When we arrived my Jack Russell at first tried to bit the guy up front, but he showed us that if we handed him the dog backwards he would be more accepting of someone else holding him.
