Luna, our Blue Heeler puppy, just graduated from the basic obedience course. Nora is a wonderful trainer who loves dogs and wants them to succeed. We’ll be back for agility classes once Luna is old enough!
I would send my friends and family and their dogs to Nora if we lived closer. She is a compassionate advocate for animals and a patient teacher of people.
Best Dog is awesome! We left our 6-m-o pup with Nora for Board and Train over spring break and came back to a different dog. She learned to much in one week! We are also taking Basic Obedience class, which I highly recommend as well. I feel much more confident now that I know positive ways to nip bad doggy tendencies and encourage good behavior. Take any classes you can with Best Dog. You’ll be glad you did!

RecommendedWith just 3 lessons, my lab Cali went from anxious to relaxed and social w other dogs. Nora did an amazing job!
We rescued two pups - a brother/sister - from the same litter, and then learned that it’s not wise to adopt two from the same litter. After trying some other trainers, we discovered Nora and have done both group (basic obedience and reactive Rover) classes and private lessons with her. In short, she’s amazing. Not only do our pups love her, but she has helped us with several challenges we were having. We HIGHLY recommend her.

Nora Birt is the best dog/person trainer in the West and beyond. My dog, Elsa and I have had the privilege of attending Best Dog Basic Obedience and Reactive Rover classes plus learning about Stick Around and Nose Training. I took my dog to the Reactive Rover class in April, Nora was just great. She was always prepared, professional, patient, & punctual!! I left with a "tool box" of tips for me that I can do & use. Overall it was a very positive experience for my dog & I.
