Our 2 year old golden retriever spent a week with Nora last month boarding and training and we can highly recommend this program. Our family has taken the puppy class, and basic obedience class with our pup Penny. The results have been fantastic, and Best Dog / Nora have been critical for our success. Our 7 month old doberman just finished basic obedience with Nora. Every class was enjoyable and her techniques work. We have purchased several private lessons that help us on skills that are not taught in class, but ones we need now as opposed to waiting for the next round of classes. Doing both has been a life saver.
Nora loves animals and is an excellent trainer.
I boarded our dog Ruffy with Nora for a week right before a move from Denver. If I remembered to do this more than a month after the move its only because of the wonderful difference Nora brought to Ruffy. we are first time dog owners and were clueless. Nora got Ruffy to obey a few commands in just 6 days. But beyond that she took good absolutely wonderful care of him. Nora is really loving and supportive. She helped our cowdog (Aussie shepherd-blue jerker mix) gain self control, which gives us a much calmer experience for our everyday life. Our dog was already sweet and good but her behavior made it hard for us to have guests. Nora saw the sweet and worked on keeping that in tact while adding structure. Now it’s on us to keep the structure.
Our new puppy has been learning how to be on his best behavior in Nora’s Puppy Class. Nora gives meaningful, calm and purposeful instructions to the class and works with the puppy’s limited attention span to develop a good set of skills towards a balanced and happy adult dog. We really look forward to class every week and our puppy can’t wait to learn and play with his buddies! An added benefit is he is pooped by the end of class and snoozes the rest of the day! Highly recommend Best Dog for training your puppy.
