I'm having to update my previous 5 star rating to the lowest possible. 6 months ago, I had issues returning a pr of speakers. It took 3 wks and a 2 hr drive to the nearest store to get a refund, but I eventually did-on a gift card. We sat on that gift card for 6 MONTHS waiting for Black Friday. BF came around and with excitement we placed our order. I checked out "as a guest" like I did last time. Worst option for computer repair!!!!! OMG Took my laptop (which I bought at best buy) in for a screen replacement. They said it would cost $450 to repair and it would take 2-3 weeks. I we ahead and let them fix it but when it came back it was worse than before and they wiped out my entire hard drive! These "geek squad" people have little no no training and should not be trusted with your data or computer!
Bad customer service – I called to speak to a representative at 1230 in the afternoon and I let the phone ring for at least five minutes. I was calling from my cell that I bought there. so used five minutes of air time for nothing, nobody ever answered, I just had to hang up. I bought two car chargers in a row from there for my cell phone that did not work too by the way. I would not deal with this Best buy EVER if I was you.

Best buy is amazing – i went to bestbuy in looks of purchasing a computer and got more than i suspected. on my arrival i was greeted by friendly employees and was very impressed by how good their customer service was. i recieved help in purchasing a computer and they asked questions to figure out exactly what i needed. Don't waste your time. Prices are just to high and people don't even know it. Purchased a new Seagate and had to return it the next day, which isn't Bestbuys fault but while I was trying to return my item I had to wait over 20 minutes at the Salem store and the girls working there totally ignored me and it wasnt even busy. While I was waiting and watching the girls, they did absolutely nothing and they were trying to look busy but they never did a damn thing. They have eveyrthing electronic We love Best Buy. If we ever need to buy anthing electronic in Salem, this is where we look first. They seem to have the best prices over-all. We have purchased video game systems and TV's from them. Their staff is very knowledgeable about the products they sell and willing to spend time with you answering your questions.
Cool Neat store. Lots of wonderful items and prices. The employees are very nice. You get help right away. They specialize in computers. We have always had wonderful service.
