RecommendedI’ve purchased from this location plenty of times! I went in to purchase a camera today and was extremely impressed with the professionalism from Samantha! She was knowledgeable about Best Buy’s inventory and patiently answered all of my questions. I have always been satisfied with this location but today really reminded me why I only shop electronics here.
I needed a battery in my iphone. went in and they told me I had to make an appt with my phone (even though they have a sign that says need your iphone fixed fast? yeah well that didn't happen. Made an appt for the first one open which was 24 hours later and go in and the guy makes up a tale about some kind of burn on my screen and calls Apple and then says Apple won't let them install a new battery. Placed an online order for a tv at this McKinney, TX Best Buy , showed to be in stock. Drove 2 hours to pick it up , was told they didn’t have one. Even showed them the online sales order. They directed me to the Frisco Tx Best Buy. An hour later while standing in line to pickup the TV in Frisco, I get an email saying my TV is ready for pickup in McKinney. I purchased a stove from this location. The first question I asked was if the delivery man would also haul away my old stove. I was told he would. It's been 24 hours since my new stove was installed and my old stove is still sitting in front of my house. I've been on the phone for hours trying to get someone to come get it. Train your employees to not ask POC if they can afford something before selling it to them!
Don’t order from Best Buy online! I ordered a microwave from them on 8/8/18 which arrived damaged. I returned the damaged microwave to the McKinney TX Best Buy as instructed. A new microwave was shipped which was also damaged. This microwave was picked up by UPS to return to Best Buy. Per Best Buy they can not ship a third time for damaged products therefore I would be refunded.
