I bought a microwave online. it was delivered damaged. There is no way to exchange it.
I didn't know if the store would be open. My husband and I drove there and clerk outside said by appointment only. I called the store from the parking lot. No answer. I would have to make the appointment through the web, I guess. It was not easy, so gave up and left. I tried to throw some business that way, but it's too difficult. Will go somewhere else.
Wanted to buy an open box item and since the stores do not allow any customers inside because of Covid-19, I called to have someone look over the item for me. An employee by the name of Meg helped me out over the phone. Very patient and very detailed on the condition of the item. So much so that I wanted to leave a message on their FB page to let them know they have a great employee named Meg working there.
Best Buy sucks, I will never purchase anything else and Best Buy!!! Let me tell you why. I have my receipt has never been opened and they want to give me a gift receipt for the Items. I was told by customer service sales person last week, I had until the 17th to return the items. so I asked for a manager they sent me a sales person named Nathan, I asked for a manager Derek was not in the building. So a customer came in with a computer that was purchased in October 2019 with no receipt and they will exchange his item!!
Worst customer service and sales I have ever seen! And when you complain, nobody cares. Even their own employees recommend that if you need help figuring out what you need, you should go to Fry’s.
So I have to say I’m very pleased with Best Buy.. I was looking for a speaker this morning and found this speaker on the shelf listed at $199... I was debating on another less powerful one at $149 and said what the heck... I’ll spend the extra $50. I go to register and it rings up at $349.99... I was like nah man it’s $199.. he points to another side of the store and said they’re listed at $349.99. I go take a pic of where I found them at $199.99. Below a 1 really. Looked around for 45mintues . Asked for service 2xs.didn't receive any customer service. We were ready to buy fridge,stove, washer and dryer all at once. If they work on commission they totally blew it !! The employees just sit around on their phones or in the front just talking to each other. Must be nice to have a job like that. If they are hiring I want to apply so I can get a paycheck to do nothing !! I can definitely do that !!!
