Gave Geek Squad a chance to make things right but unfortunately I cannot agree with the outcome. Was told custom PC needed new motherboard and CPU due to no boot, when I got PC back I had a mess of wires everywhere and cables not plugged in at all, and while the PC would boot, it would shut off after 5 mins of running. While trying to fix the mess I was left with I disconnected the hard drive and noticed the PC booted fine and wasnt running slow anymore, reconnected the hard drive and it would slow down and crash. This place has the worst customer service ever. I set a reservation with Greek Squad for 12:20 pm and got there at that exact time. I see a sign that said have a seat if you made a reservation and someone will be with you. So, I have a seat and it took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and she said she was going to check me in. it took another 10 minutes for her to do that. 8/9/2022 aprox: 2PM Tried BEST BUY? Don't give up. Go to COSTCO. Manager met customer at the door. I was directed to customer counter near the Geek Squad. The gentlemen receiving customers, at that point, may have been happier working elsewhere as I felt he was very rude, repeating himself continuously the effort being to make the customer feel stupid. Worst service in the world. Please don’t even turn to this store to buy appliances. They don’t deliver on time and they don’t get connected with dispatch team. The dispatch team will not respond for your queries. Especially, please dont waste your money for 'Tech Support' which will not make any sense. DO NOT EVER PRE-ORDER A PHONE AT BEST BUY. I preordered a phone for in store pickup 2 weeks before release date of the Samsung S22. Well here it is, the day the phone is released, and guess what. NO PHONE. Tried calling them but the store cant be bothered to pick up the phone so I could not find out if it was in. Drove 45 minutes to the store and was told "sorry your phones not here". Ordered a new radio system for my car. One of the employees ordered what I thought was everything I needed. Had to wait almost 2 months for the closest avaliable appointment which I didn't have a problem with. My appointment was today just to be told there were 2 parts missing that weren't ordered. Just to be told it's going to be an additional $80 for both parts which I don't think I should be responsible for the employees mistake. Geek Squad (Ted) at Tysons showed expertise and helpfulness, missing in other locations like Sterling or Fairfax.
Notice to all warranty purchasers, be sure you keep up with your paper work, cause a electronic store as big as best buy just cant keep up with others. My wife and bought a tv and a warranty plan on the tv. The tv broke and the nerd squad came by and checked it out but couldnt fix it, they called it in and we were suppose to get a new tv now they are saying they sent us a gift card but we haven't seen no gift card..
