I thought the difference between a plumber and a psychiatrists is that the latter should have a deeper understanding of human beings and more empathy. Dr Jayalath is a living proof that is not the case.
So glad I found this clinic. I saw a lot of negative reviews before I went which made me really cautious, but glad to say I dont agree with any of it. There's been some miscommunication here and there, but other than that reception is lovely, TMS nurses are lovely, and Dr Ho & Dr Jayalath are amazing. I honestly think the bad reviews were from people with unrealistic expectations, mis-understanding how mental health works, or needed to rake their bad mood out on someone. Very good phyciatrist highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and he really listens
Was told I could not have Eskaketamine, but not told why. Just told to try another therapy which I have already tried and which didn't work. When I asked for reason why I was not eligible received no answer. Told if I have another episode to get in touch. Had no idea what this meant as suffering from depression now. Felt disrespected and brushed aside. They need lessons in empathetic communication as this just makes you feel worse. Lynette Volzke
Dr Jayalath is an extremely empathetic and caring doctor. He has helped me formalise my ADHD diagnosis. I would happily recommend!
