It has a wonderful buffet on one(we go there mostly if at night)and a BBQ sand which shop on the other side,Both very good.�
I was truly happy with the brisket and ribs. Bought the combination plate and for the price it was pretty good. The hash and rice was okay, but nothing to write home about. The onion ring could have been cooked a little longer or at least not dipped in so much batter. Very helpful staff. Clean dining room. Would recommend folks stopping to give it a go.

A southern tradition for years! The service and the bar bque is by far the best on the east coast!! We live in Annapolis Maryland and make sure we come to Bessinger's Bar-b-q and stock up... it's the only way to survive!!!
I go through Charleston every now and then on my way to va hospital. I finally stopped by. I loved their food. I'm wanting bbq as we speak wish there was 1 here in Savannah.
