RecommendedMy Husband and I eat at Bessie 3 times and we both agreed that it was the very best comfort food that either of us has ever eaten, We had the mac & Cheese, The Open Turkey Sandwich, The French Dip and The Grilled Cheese everything was great, it brought me back to my mom's kitchen. Barbara. Scott and Danielle were so friendly and welcoming they made us feel at home, The next time we're visiting Maine we will be eating at Bessie's again!!! We loved the food it was the best!!!!
Great service and the BEST burger and fries we've had in a long time!
Ordered a Caesar salad with Balsamic instead of Caesar dressing. They sent it with Caesar dressing anyway. And since all salads are apparently pre-made, they would not take it off the bill. $14 for food my wife couldn't eat. No wonder the place was empty. We paid the bill, begrudgingly, and left as fast as we could.
I was not happy at all tonight with the service and especially the food. Invited my family out for a nice dinner and ended up paying for $80 worth of tasteless unseasoned food ..raw onion rings..a WELL WELL done steak; which was ordered medium rare..potatoes that were cold and disgusting. Sad thing is...I'm NOT a complainer....the food has definitely gone downhill in the past 12 months!!
We had the roasted turkey dinner and chicken pot pie. Everything was delicious. Ryan was so fun & friendly. The cakes were huge!!!
Best fried seafood platter! Love it.
