The service was absolute horrible. She did not seem to care about us at all. It was quite disappointing. The food was not the best either. The soup was a little cold and there was too much cilantro taste. The mushroom pita was ok. For dinner I had chicken with spinach potatoes, which was fairly good. My partner had scallops which weren't cooked all around , just in one area. It had no flavor. I was very surprised that we were at Beso bc I pictured it being a lot more better for the price you pay. Finally discovered Beso – I've been reading about all the hype around Beso for years and finally made it out to Hollywood to check it out, and i have to say, i am very pleasantly surprised! First of all, it's in the heart of Hollywood and there's a lot going on in the area. It's just 2 blocks from the Pantages...we made it here on a fluke after a show and had a great time! The mood inside is dark and sexy with great lighting, nice high cielings and cool design..it looks like it might've been a studio o something at one point... read more
