Went to celebrate our anniversary, food was excellent, service was ok just a little disappointed with the celebration part. Normally when we celebrate any special occasion we'll get a nice card and rose peddles at Eddy V's or a split of champagne and Ponte Vecchio's in Del Mar but here we got 1/2 a strawberry and a spoon full of whip cream over a 2"x2" confetti cake. Disappointing

I always love this place! Excellent service, great ambiance and omg the lobster bisque! It is a real treat to come to Mr. A's. The steak is excellent. Wine list and service...amazing!! Last time I went I had the Sea bass and it was pretty bland. I was a bit shocked, but never the less I love it here and I will be back!
The food was merely average, but the view of downtown SD was amazimg and the service was good. Still was disappointed with the food, expected better.
