A All Time Tradition When I was a little girl we used to go to Bertoluccis Restaurant and Mrs. Bertolucci would be sitting near the kitchen making homemade cannollis to serve to her guests. Now, at 62, I continue to go to Bertoluccis for a wonderful homecooked Italian meal. Although the Mrs. Bertolucci is no longer there and the restaurant has new owners - the quality of the cuisine has remained EXCELLENT
Cozy dining and excellent food I found the ding to be very cozy in Bertoluccis, The menu included usual italien favorites plus seafood items. I had fish and enjoyed it very much. The dessest (creme brulee) was a not up to the standards of the main course. Wine was good as was the service. I have been to this restaurant only once but certainly would go back.
Great Old Time Italian Restaurant!!! Great place for a nice dinner or lunch. Locals love it because it's a neighborhood favorite and kid friendly and the food is great. Next time you don't want to cook and want a good meal, go right down the street to Bertoluccis!!! PROS: Parking lot right THERE!! CONS:
Bertolucci's This restaurant has been in South City for years and has recently changed ownership. The decor has been updated and the bar has been slightly modernized with flat screen tvs. The food is classic Italian with very little creativity. This is fine by me as I love the classic dishes like linguine a vongole.
Great Italian Food In South San Francisco – While the bar/lounge area of Bertolucci's doesn't appear to have changed one bit since the 1960's, the restaurant has recently been updated by the new owners. All of the food was excellent, we all enjoyed our meals. Their service was good and luckily we didn't have to wait for our table. This restaurant can get filled up (we went on a weekday evening and the place was packed) so I recommend making reservations.
