He is a very experienced surgeon. I left my initial visit with my questions answered, and a good understanding of what happens during and after the procedure. He and his staff use all the available technology, and after my post op visit, I felt like I had been to Medical School!
I had my Knee Arthroscopy two weeks ago and was impressed with how smooth the entire process went. It was very efficient. Dr. Mandelbaum came highly recommended to me by reputable sources. My only reservation was based on reviews of long wait times which in my experience, can also mean that the doctor can be rushed in your time spent with him. That was not my experience. Dr. Mandelbaum is thorough and compassionate, and I would not hesitate to recommend him for arthroscopic knee surgery, such as what I had. His office provides plenty of information about what to expect, and an ongoing online communication line where he keeps track of his patients' progress and patients' questions and concerns can be expressed are readily answered.

I had a severe knee injury two years ago and didn’t have surgery at that time. I had complete tear of my ACL. It recently started buckling. Dr Mandelbaum was able to see me within a few days. I was hesitant to have surgery with information I had previously received and reading online regarding the recovery. After talking with Dr Mandelbaum decided to proceed and so glad so did!
