Been going through the motions for months trying to get help. All I ever hear is they'll get back to you.
I am a private practice therapist in Lawrence, KS. I have recently experienced referring humans to the Treatment and Recovery Center of Douglas County and also the Bert Nash Intensive Outpatient Program. My clients report being treated with a high level of dignity and respect.The team members at Bert Nash were really helpful in support both me as the provider, my client and their families.
It pains me to give them such a low rating because I think what they are trying to do is noble. Dr. Cho has helped me out a lot, but it's like the nurses and everyone else could care less about problem solving and communication. I've probably called and left messages 4+ times to get ssri refills to last me until next appointment. And I have never talked with an actual nurse or received any sort confirmation my message was received or my refill was sent. My individual therapist was wonderful, and I truly felt I made great progress while working with her. However, after reaching the maximum number of covered sessions, I unexpectedly received a bill for more than a year’s worth of services. At no point during treatment was I told that I owed anything, and this only came to my attention once I was no longer a patient. Since then, I’ve tried multiple times to contact Bert Nash to discuss the matter, but no one answers the phone, and my voicemails and emails go unanswered. This s... read more
