The coconut cream and Marion Berry cream pies were delicious. If you want to take a pie home they range from $12.95 to $28.95. But they are delicious. My husband had the chicken and dumplings for dinner. He is from Kentucky and he love the way they prepared them over a biscuit. He said it was delicious and home-cooked food. I I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The mashed mashed potatoes were delicious and the chicken fried steak was hot and just as good. We try to go there at least once a month, and I must say we are batting 1000. The food and service are second to none.
Great food. Very large portions. I was only able to eat a 1/4 of the yummy burger I ordered. Pies are amazing.
Their chef salad is good, but their marionberry cream pie is divine.
This was our second visit. Service was great before and even better this time! We took our two little boys there for dinner and the food was delicious. I ordered a burger with clam chowder and my husband ordered chicken fried steak. The boys shared a grilled cheese with smiley face French fries-so fun! Their Marrionberry cream pie is AMAZING! The best pies ever, plus the food amazing. This is one of the best american restaurants in the road.
This is such a great place. Gives you that homey feeling. The food is amazing. All the homemade goodies there is to buy. The logging pictures and wood carvings was a wonderful treat. It is a must go for anyone. I know we will go back for sure.
