I’ve had many pieces framed here. They always do a really nice professional job. I also appreciate that they take a lot of time with me to pick out the most fitting frame and matting (I’m picky). The price is pretty standard for custom frames, compared to other places I’ve tried, although I’d say Bernzweig quality is one of the best I know of. And the nice thing is that they don’t try to up charge you for “special” frames or extra matting, like other places do. The price is pretty much fixed based on size.
This far out weighed my expectations. The price was phenomenal. The outcome was phenomenal. The customer service was exceptional. The kindness and local storytelling was wonderful. overall phenomenal experience. I highly recommend grabbing some old painting that looks saggy and tired and bring it in to get reframed.
In late 2023, I asked Bernzweig if they could shadow box-frame an incredible Japanese kite my son bought there for his dad. It reminded my son of all the kite flying they did on the beaches of San Francisco. Bernzweig was so busy I was told it was going to take a few months to make.
