Update: Went in for a follow-up after getting some assessments and testing done — which had gone very well! Wonderful experience. Cannot recommend Dr. Bernous and staff highly enough. I feel as though even if I had received results that I, perhaps, didn’t want I would have been in safe hands to process any and all feelings. I've been in therapy for years, and this is by far my favorite place!! I have weekly sessions, one with a talk therapist and then another one for EMDR. My talk therapist is via telehealth (Webcam) and my EMDR therapist is always done in person due to the depth of the sessions. I believe for that as well you have the option of telehealth, but with how in depth they go, I don't have a personal quiet space where I won't be bothered to do the sessions at home. The 3 sessions that I had with Grace helped a lot. She helped me realize the power of choice, reset/identify life's priorities, as well as regain a sense of confidence. She created a safe space where I was able to discuss things that I have no one else to talk with about. Her demeanor was always supportive and caring. She's going to have a really big career in Psychology because her heart is in the right place. Anyone who crosses Grace's path and is able to receive support, is lucky to have her. Had an initial consultation with Dr. Behzad Bernous today. He is very kind and thoughtful, as are the two people working at the front desk. It’s a very clean space that also invites relaxation. (You almost feel like you’re waiting for a massage appointment.) I have a couple follow up appointments and I look forward to them!
