Bernie's Grooming specializes in helping dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs enjoy grooming. We are located inside the SF Animal Care and Control where we have groomed over 500 pets since 2006. Our goal is to help each pet feel and look their best for their new life and adopted family. We have been grooming San Francisco pets since 1997. Our experienced staff grooms your pet as if they were their own with tender loving care. We use organic shampoo and conditioners that are the highest quality in the industry.

Bernie's was recommended to us by a neighbor, and we have had the best experiences in the years we've been bringing our (slightly neurotic but adorable) dogs to see Wen-Li at the SF ACC location. Wen-Li does does great, consistent work. She combines a professional attitude with a easy-going positive personality. I cannot recommend Bernie's (and Wen-Li) more.

Pet lovers Bernie does sometimes have problems with scheduling, and she is aware of this. She has made great efforts to be better at this, and I think she has definitely improved. As far as the quality of her work goes, there is none better in The City that I've found. She takes extra time to treat each animal with care and respect. She is a true pet lover, and her care really shows. I would not take my dog to someone who works at a chain pet groomer simply because you never know who is working on your animal.
Excellent service I've been taking my dogs to Bernie for a number of years and she has consistently done a great job on their grooming. They're normally little devils but she seems to have no problem with them (or at least she doesn't tell me!) Also, she's a lovely, caring person. Maureen O.

Bernie's Small Mistakes I've been taking my standard poodle to Bernie's to be groomed for about a year and a half now. We get him groomed about every three months, so that's about 6 times we've taken our dog there, and each time they've done something to make me doubt their capability. Our dog is usually well groomed, but half the times we get him back, he's been knicked on one of his ears. My biggest complaint, though, is that they don't seem to budget their time very well.
