ER doctors, referred me to Dr. Berner (w/in 48hrs). I made appt. with office for his 1st avail. When I arrived, I was seen not by him but, by a PA. During the visit, I sensed the PA's opinions were preconceived and based not on my records but on "normal" cases. The entire visit felt adversarial. Very happy with Dr. Berner
Dr Berner is very attentive. He keeps up with the latest studies and literature in his field. He documents each visit as it is happening and you’re provided with a printed copy of it as you leave his office. If there are ever any discrepancies, you can call his office to have it clarified.
Extremely arrogant and conceited personality that is very trying to look past when given that he is supposed to be a doctor but ultimately shows NO compassion, empathy, or any kind of bedside manner. Ironically a “Know it all”, when definitely lacking knowledge and training in paramount medical areas.
I have complete confidence in Dr. Jody. He is extremely thorough, very personable, and gives you his complete attention and allows you plenty of his time without hurrying through your appointment. He is an outstanding practitioner and explains the results of the procedures in a way that is easily understood. His focus is on the elimination of the pathological elements, and patient education in controlling disease processes.
Optum rx is trying to get approval for transfer of Famotidine 40 mg twice a day from CVS to Optum rx. They wrote that they have not received your approval. I very much want to do this as they will send a 3-month supply for zero copay, whereas CVS is charging me $20 for a 30-day supply.
Make sure you read the fine print when you use their surgery center, Got stuck with a $4300.00 Anesthesia bill for a 15 minute procedure, and of course the doctor owns the Anesthesia practice, no wonder the medical industry is so screwed up. Will never go back to them again.
There is a serious scheduling problem at this practice. The wait times are usually 30 to 45 minutes after the appointment time. Today, I waited over an hour. To make matters worse, the office staff seems oblivious to the issue and when confronted about it they don't seem to care.
This man had his face in a laptop while in the exam room for 45 min! He asked no questions, did a 5 min exam to tell my daughter she is too sick and needs to go to a tertiary hospital. He wasted our time when he should have told us this in the beginning. He had all of her history. Would never recommend this man because this is not a physician.
