I've been with him for 11y, take all of my kids to him, referred all my fam and friends. I couldn't go into the office or I'd run the risk of losing my job, so i asked for a video visit. They said no. I just need a referral because the one given to me doesn't except my insurance. I explained my situation to the reception she spoke to me very condescendingly. Apparently DrTan and his employees have forgotten there empathy and companion.
I currently have him as my two kids doctor and i'm happy with him. But he is not a Breast feeding friendly doctor. I did took out my early baby to another dr for the first year and a half because he did not give my breast milk a chance. He wanted to go straight to formula and did not want to continue a conversation with me about breastfeeding. The new dr. just told me to change my diet and it worked. Dr Tan you need to be more up to date in breast feeding. Please take some yearly classes. Government do offer seminars.

Unbelievably disappointed! Dr Tan was the physician on call and was required to complete a 24hour exam on our newborn, despite the doctors physical office being within walking distance from our hospital room, he did not meet the required 24hour time frame and then after the 24hour window passed he failed to return the nursing staff and our calls asking his ETA. Complete lack of respect for patients and hospital requirements.
