I was seen for an annual checkup. During the initial visit I was told that I needed a deep clean and scaling. (I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months and I use a deep cleaning electronic tooth brush as well as a metal dental pick to assure that I can control plaque buildup). The ‘scaling and deep cleaning’ was essentially a regular cleaning. (I have had a scaling and deep cleaning in the past and the treatment I received was not at all like that treatment.) I was a patient of this office for years and never had a problem. I had major dental work done in one day 2 days before Thanksgiving of this year that took 6 hours to complete ( crown, deep cleaning, a filling and one inlay. It had been almost 2 years since I saw the dentist. I was just recently diagosed with a heart condition and am taking medication for it.
