My husband and I have been withDr. McGraw ever since he took over from Dr. Eurs. My husband had a bridge replaced, but was never given an estimate of the cost or alternative options for something less expensive. We received a bill for almost $5,000. My husband would never have chosen to get something so expensive if he had known. He’s 89 years old! Needless to say we are finding a new dentist.
I was one of his first patients in Scotts Valley when he took over the practice from Dr. Eurs (which I was a patient of also). Dr. McGraw is very good and very down to earth. His dental restorations fit great and have lasted for 20+ years in some cases. His, not so new office now is still fabulous and so clean is sparkles. His staff are great.
The dental assistant & hygienist were the highlights of this office, friendly & competent. The office manager freely gives advice about medications & dental decisions though she is unqualified to do so. Each time this dentist worked on me, my teeth hurt for weeks after he had done basic procedures -- this never happened to me before. While he may be competent in terms of dental procedures, he's very rough. He's a nice guy I'd invite to a barbecue, but I won't let him near my mouth again.
One of his original patients when he purchased the practice-very trustworthy, knowledgeable, skilled, and finds way to keep costs down while providing excellent treatment.
