He's an ok surgeon. When my knee healed it moved around a lot, which caused much scaring. He didn't offer much help. I went out of town and got a second opinion. That's when I found out that there are other knee replacements. The new surgeon added screws and a plate to the existing replacement and I had a much better outcome. Get a second opinion before you get your replacement. You won't be sorry.
My husband broke his hip 7 years ago. He was told then it would eventually need to be replaced. He has been told by 2 orthopedic doctors and his PCP doctors (unfortunately he has had 5 PCP’s in the last several years because none of them have stuck around) that both his hips need to be replaced. He has been in incredible pain the last couple of years. He saw Dr. Roehr today and he said his hips were fine and suggested he find a permanent doctor…like he hasn’t tried and take Celebrex….which he has already tried. Today’s visit... read more

Incredible ortho surgeon. Caring and professional!
Went for a second opinion for my tkr to see him. Told nothing was wrong with it and probably didn’t need a tkr in the first place. Ordered a mri for back. Never went thru with mri because I knew something was wrong. The ct scan I had showed loosening by the tibia he said the Radiologist read it wrong probably. One week ago today I got a tkr revision it was loose by the tibia. After like 5 months of the surgery. His partner in the office did original one went to another city for this one .
