It's frustrating to get no response to yet another theft in our apartment complex within just two weeks, and it is disheartening to see that no actions have been taken by the management to address this concerning issue. The recent theft incidents have left me feeling extremely unsafe in what is supposed to be a secure and comfortable living environment. It is evident that security measures in our apartment complex are lacking, and residents are paying the price for it.
Living at The Bernard Apartment meant not only having my packages stolen but also feeling like my concerns were dismissed and unimportant. The trust I initially had in this complex quickly eroded as I realized that the management's priorities were clearly misplaced. I strongly advise anyone considering moving to Bernard Apartment to think twice before signing a lease. I love living here ($ amount of rent, location, studio layout), BESIDES the fact that my mail gets stolen every time my item arrives on a weekend. If your mail arrives late on a Friday/Saturday, better pick it up before you sleep. I’ve had at least 5+ packages delivered on a weekend & I kid you not, my packages will get stolen every time. The Bernard isn't a place I would recommend and call home. To be frank, I'm ashamed and upset to have called this place home for the past six months due to unpleasantry. The garage is an unsafe and easy place to walk in for any resident or non-resident of The Bernard. Because of unmonitored cameras (due to the lack of cameras, there is only one inside the garage) my car was broken into with a crowbar and sadly looking at over $10,000 towards repairs.
