Defiantly Don't Move Here!!! The review from 2015 is defiantly the apartment leaders. This place is far from amazing. Its located on Chef Menteur Hwy, where the prostitutes and drug addicts roam free. When I moved in here, I moved in under false pretenses. even though the neighbors looked a little off I still went against my own judgement and settled on this place because I was in a bind. lord I moved in and quickly moved out. Killing Season If you value your life don't move here somebody was shot when I first moves here and now on March12,2017 somebody was killed. The manager/landlord is only here to pick up the rent he don't care about nothing but the money.

I think the negative reviews posted here are before the new owner and manager took over the property.... Since then the place has been run very good. I have been living here for over a year now and have seen a HUGE improvement. Maintenance staff is excellent and always responds quickly to issues. There have been many imporvements recently. The location on Chef Highway is convenient. Bus stop right out front. The only thing I would say is that the new owners are strict on the rules, but that is a good thing in my opinion as i... read more

Bern Mas Apartments Well I've only been living in Been Mas for about four months and I must say though it's not the best I make the best of it. Located in the East corner of the present city. It's a very close but community ranging from old to young but every one seems content as it seems. I stay on the second story above but below no one. This apartment complex is a good place...the staff is good, They are very strict about the rules here. Ive seen many people be kicked out for not following rules. I have been living here for more than 4 years and I like it here. It’s usually quiet here.... I personally think this is a good apartment complex the price isn’t to high, the apartment is big in the inside with a lot of space I have no plans to go no where. My girlfriend and I have a 1 bdrm apartment and its very clean and well maintained. Its not luxurious, but if price, cleanliness and nice folks are more important to you, this is a great place. The building is old, which I think is great because it makes the rent not to exspensive. The maintenance staff is great though and everything is very well kept up. I cannot give an opinion of my stay at Bern Mas Apartments because I chose an apartment in Metairie instead (preferred to be away from the east and closer to my job) but Janice made every effort to make me a tenant. She quickly took pictures of the apartment I was interested in and emailed them to me which were good quality btw. I am from Alabama so she was basically my virtual tour guide. I am very surprised with all of the bad reviews. Before me and husband had moved to this location I had READ ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS SITE! I even went to yahoo, apartment reviews so on and so forth! However, wouldn't it be common sense not to park in the areas that are not designated parking spot. If you got a parking pass like we did and didn’t double park then your car was fine.
